DBE Ladies Pairs Day – Charlbury BC
Adie and I went to Charlbury Bowls Club, Oxfordshire to watch DBE Ladies Pairs Day. The club was lovely and welcoming. We were blessed with good weather and with a very enjoyable atmosphere. This was a well organised day with help from many people enabling good competition.
After the morning matches a lunch was presented by the club and after the afternoon matches before the final, super cakes were enjoyed. With such entertainment and food nothing could be faulted.
The Friends trophy for the winners was presented by me and photos taken by Steve Watson (to follow). Adie arranged with Judy (DBE) for our match against the DBE to be played at Charlbury next year.
