The weather at Gerrards Cross was not so kind to us for this annual match for the claret jug but it was warm, and we didn’t get too wet.
The match on six rinks was played in the usual good spirit and after 21 ends we ended up with a draw 110 – 110 so we get to hold on to the claret jug.

The top winning rink for Bowls England was Rink 2 with a score of 21 – 12
Lead – Keith Young, No 2 – David Worker, No 3 – Julie Beamish, Skip – Kat Bowman
Your captain skipped rink 3 against President Terri Keen and we managed a close 21 -15 win.
We were all treated to a great meal by Gerrards Cross BC and much banter was enjoyed by all.
