We were given a very warm welcome at East Leake Bowls Club, Nottinghamshire.
Calling the Teams
A very good afternoon of bowling was enjoyed on a good green, with help from four members of East Leake Club. Our hosts were the victors, with the final scores 96-60.
Captains of the day were John Scholey for Friends, and Sue McFarland for East Leake.
The winning rink for Friends was Julie Hayes, Tricia Scholey, Keith Wesson and Adie Lloyd 22-17

The game was followed by an excellent meal, and the two captains offered their thanks to all of those who had worked so hard to make the day successful, including Sue McFarland who prepared the lunch and tea, Anne Cooling and Helevi Gamble who tidied it all away, and not forgetting Pete Bradley who manned the bar.
John Scholey presented Captain Sue with a certificate which would be a reminder of the day. It was a good day. Thank you one and all.
