Tuesday 16th May: When we arrived at Pineholt BC. It was cloudy, but warm. The ladies produced some excellent rolls for us to enjoy with tea, coffee or beer. The Captain of the Day for Pineholt was Ivan Bullen and he extended a warm welcome to the Friends out on the green. Wednesday 10th May : We arrived to a warm welcome, a warm drink and very enjoyable rolls. The game for the afternoon would be six rinks, 21 ends with 3s up and trial ends. Tuesday 9th May : Friends from various parts of the country arrived at Steeple Morden to help celebrate the Club’s 75th Anniversary. The weather forecast was not good – showers, thunderstorms – but we played the whole game in warm sunshine.
